This formerly vacant property was acquired by NCST Strategic Development Partner, Johnson Real Estate Investment Group, Ltd. and required over $40,000 to complete the rehabilitation. This townhome, in the Columbus suburb of Westerville, Ohio was originally built in 1973. The home offers two bedrooms and three bathrooms with nearly 1,400 square feet of living space. This project included installation of a new air conditioning system as well as full renovations of the kitchen and bathrooms. Additionally, the home received a fresh coat of paint and significant drywall repair as well as replaced flooring throughout.
The kitchen renovation included installing new cabinetry and countertops, and replacing the sink and fixtures. Johnson Real Estate Investment Group also replaced kitchen appliances, including the refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Additionally, the bathrooms received substantial updates, including replacing the sink, toilet, vanity and bathtub. Our partner also addressed exterior matters such as repair to the garage and replacing the deck floor boards on the patio.
Westerville, Ohio is a middle class suburban community on the northeast side of Franklin County in the Columbus MSA. Home buyers are attracted to Westerville’s highly-rated schools and amenities such as great public spaces and recently developed “Uptown Westerville” featuring walkable shops and restaurants in a small town setting. The new owner is a retiree who lived in the area for the last 20 years and as they described, “she was ready to start a new chapter in her own condo.” The renovated condo offers the right mix of near maintenance free living with all new fixtures and appliances.
