RPS Solutions, an NCST Strategic Developer Partner in Baltimore, MD completed a major transformation on this Fannie Mae NSI First Look property located in Baltimore City. Originally built in 1958, this 1700 square foot townhome with three bedrooms, one and half baths underwent just under $45,000 in renovations. RPS did an outstanding renovation on this home including upgrading the kitchen to include new stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, ceramic flooring and a cozy breakfast bar. They also completely finished the basement and added an enclosed laundry area, a powder room and a walk up to the backyard. Final touches included updated bathrooms, exterior paint and landscaping.
RPS Solutions not only provided a wonderfully renovated home but also 3% in closing cost assistance to its new homebuyer who is a first time homebuyer and single mom. RPS’ homebuyer completed NHS Baltimore’s First Time Homebuyer Program which she credits for providing her with the education and tools to make her first home purchase a success. The new homebuyer is excited to be living in a walkable and peaceful community that is close to her work as well as her daughter’s school. In a city that can have long commute times, it now only takes this homebuyer fifteen minutes to get to work and three minutes to get to her daughter’s daycare. She loves that she can walk in her community and raise her daughter in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Located in the Frankford Neighborhood of northeast Baltimore in Ward 26, this home is close to local transit hubs and outdoor parks making it a perfect location to call home.
