Kissimmee, FL — The Housing League (THL)

Length view of a renovated kitchen

This Fannie Mae NSI First Look property was acquired by longtime NCST partner, The Housing League (THL).  Built in 1960, this 1200 square foot home with three bedrooms, two baths underwent just under $50,000 in renovations.  A new roof as well as additional wood replacements were needed to repair the significant water damage in the home. THL replaced the entire kitchen including a new appliance package.  They also updated the bathrooms and provided new flooring and painting throughout.  Improvements also included a new HVAC system, drywall repairs and electrical devices and fixtures.

The exterior of the home received a new paint job and general cleanup of the existing landscape.

The Housing League was able to work with a new first-time homebuyer who income qualified below 80% of the area median income.  This home was perfect for the new homebuyer because she was able to move closer to her daughter living in the area. The buyer shared that she was “extremely happy with the work THL completed and very glad the home was made available to her before the rehabilitation of home was actually completed”.  Located in a moderate income area, the home is part of the Robinson neighborhood in Kissimmee, FL.  With easy access to highways, employment centers and community shopping centers, this home was ideal for a first time homebuyer looking to make Osceola County home.
